How do I get involved with your program?
The first step to try our program begins with a free evaluation class. We offer this class to students by appointment to come in and see our facility, evaluate
our instructors and learn some basic moves.
What happens after the introductory class?
After the introductory class we will sit down with the student and parent and discuss the class. At this time we will also discuss your goals, our tuition and
programs and if you choose we will schedule you for your introductory course.
What is the introductory course?
The introductory course consists of 3 half hour beginner lessons designed to introduce the students to the basics of our martial arts program.
How much does the introductory course cost?
The cost of the introductory course is $49.95. This price includes your first 3 lessons, a student uniform and a your choice of a bo staff or a pair of bag gloves to use in class and for home practice.
What happens after the introductory course?
At your final introductory class we will all sit down once again and discuss your options for joining our school. Should you decide to become a member we will then schedule you into our beginner classes.
How many classes per week can I attend?
All students who sign up for a Level 1 program attend a minimum of two classes per week.
What if I miss a scheduled class?
If you miss one or more than one class you may make it up over the course of the following month. For students who know they will be on a scheduled vacation for say a month can begin making up their classes before or after their scheduled absence.
How do I earn my belts?
Your first belt, white, is awarded to you after you successfully complete the introductory course. Each belt rank after that, beginning with white/yellow is awarded after a test compiled from the last four months of class curriculum. Each month you are tested for a stripe on your belt that shows you have successfully completed that month's curriculum. Four stripes show you are ready for your next belt exam.
How much does all this cost?
Our tuition averages between $7 and $12 per class.
