August Palchanis represented GMA all by herself... She won 1st in weapons, 2nd in forms and 3rd in fighting.  Mr. Grant was the head referee at this event for the third year in a row!

April 6, 2009 First Monday! 

GMA will be inviting other schools to come in and cross train on the first Monday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30.  The "first" first Monday was a huge success.  Members from Rogers Martial Arts, the Goshin Dragon, Mt. Top Martial Arts, Back Mt. Martial Arts and, of course, GMA attended.  Over 80 martial artist trained in Sparring, Kickboxing, Kenpo, Grappling and Self-defense.  Mark you calendar and attend next month on May 4th!
Update!!!  No one counted and no one took a picture that I know of but...  We estimate we had over 80 participants on the floor during the first ever First Monday workout at GMA!!!  Don't miss the next one -- May 4th 6:30 to 8:30!  This will be great practice for the GMA Open on May 9th!


April 4, 2009 USA Karate Championships

August Palchanis and John Bonner once again put on a demonstration of their karate skills in Clark Summitt.  August won 1st in Weapons, 3rd in Forms and 1st in Fighting.  John won 2nd in weapons, 1st in forms and 1st in fighting!
